Eagle's Nest

I discovered a Golden Eagle's nest yesterday along Convict Grade Road, one of my favorite bird watching drives. If there are eggs in the nest, they should be hatching close to the end of February. The nest is situated tip-top on the cliff, with the Yellowstone River on the right, heading east. It's a massive, beautiful nest that rests on a triangle rock that juts out in the middle of the frame, on the last photo to scale. There's an ideal pull-over and park spot, underneath a tree to observe.
