Bottleneck
Temp was -10, wind chill negative plus that when I took this photo down the street from my house yesterday. Each bird on it's own mission to find warmth, sweet patterns driven through the ice.

Merlin in Town
Up the road from my house, I watched this bird from many angles today, just to get my identification right. She was puffed up with appropriate temperatures and observed her scope of songbirds and pigeons in the vicinity for food during snowfall.
